Highland Reel x Cruz De Vega is our impeccably bred gelding foaled down at Swettenham Stud by seven-time Group 1 winning stallion, Highland Reel (IRE) out of Cruz de Vega (AUS) a 4-time winning mare by the legendary Lope De Vega (IRE) who has sired over 200 stakes horses including 22 Group 1 winners whilst Highland Reel has been sired by the Sire of Sires – Galileo. He has been broken in and is impressing in his first preparation with Matt Dunn – one of Australia’s premier regional trainers. He is rated A++ by TrueNicks and has an aptitude profile of 1600m+.

Ivantheinvincible is a powerful and athletic colt by the multiple Group 1 winning sire, Russian Revolution, out of the well-bred Empress Matilda (by Red Ransom). This standout colt was handpicked by Neil Jenkinson FBAA and Matt Dunn for his early-running potential and exceptional natural talent.

Ivantheinvincible showed excellent natural talent and speed at his first trial in December 2024 and will be commencing his first racing preparation in early 2025.

Pierre Cardinnigan is an impressive gelding foaled down at Zhongli Thoroughbreds by Australia’s champion first, second and third season sire, Pierro (AUS) out of two-time winning and Group 3 placed Snitzel mare, Dinnigan (AUS).

Pierre Cardinnigan was a $380,000 yearling at the 2022 Gold Coast Magic Millions sales and has shown great natural talent and finishing speed, winning his maiden and BM58 over 1550m in successive starts.  In his first 4 races for Edge, he recorded 2 wins, a 2nd and a 4th.

Pierre Cardinnigan is rated A+ by True Nicks and G1 Goldmine identifies horses bred on this cross as being a 20/20 match and having a strong aptitude between 1200m – 2000m and improving with age.  Pierre will be back from his spell in early 2025 focusing on metropolitan racing.

Godfather is a stakes winning gelding foaled down at Yarraman Park Stud by Australia’s premier sprinting and stakes winning stallion, I am Invincible out of Group 2 winner Meliora, also making him a full-brother to the Group winning sprinter and stallion, I Am Immortal. He was a $1.1m yearling at the 2022 Gold Coast Magic Millions sales.

Godfather won the listed Phelan Ready Stakes on debut in December 2022 beating subsequent Group winner Cifrado in great style. He is bred on the same rated cross as Home Affairs, Brazen Beau, Marabi and Hellbent and he has a sprinting aptitude profile of 1000-1200m.

Following his purchase by Edge in March 2024, Godfather was gelded and returned to training with Matthew Dunn Racing and his new ownership group recording a win and 2 x 2nd’s in his first preparation for Edge.
